About us

I grew up in a family that did not hunt, yet somehow I developed a passion for target archery and archery elk hunting at a very young age. My obsession with becoming a better shot and better elk hunter led me to design my first archery product (the original Trophy Taker Arrow Rest) in the winter of 1997.  That design sparked the flood of fall-away rests on the market today.  I continued to operate Trophy Taker for 19 years before selling the company in June, 2016.

As you review the OPTION ARCHERY site, you will see that this company was started in 2016, and is based on my Option Sight and Quivalizer designs.  Both of these product lines align with my personal goal of “Bringing Target Precision to Hunting Camp.”

I spent two years perfecting the design of the OPTION SIGHT, and I think you will find that this patented sight concept offers the best of both worlds (fixed and movable pin sights).  

The QUIVALIZER concept was born out of my constant search for an ultra-light, perfectly balanced hunting bow that aims like a target bow for ultimate accuracy in the field. 

I also designed the CACHE-BAR line of practical stabilizer and back-bar options.  The Cache-Bar’s main feature allows us to use items we always carry with us to take our bow balance to the next level.

We are always accessible to our customers and make top notch customer service our priority.  I will continue to push the envelope in product design and stand behind Option Archery's products with our Lifetime Warranty.
